This annual event builds strategic alliances among key bioscience organizations, governments, and those concerned with the developing world. An average of 500 delegates from over 68 countries come together to promote the application of agricultural biotechnology to solve global problems and find solutions that benefit everybody.
This year the theme for ABIC 2018 is “Technology for Better Life.” ABIC 2018 will take place in Weifang, China, from September 15 to 18, 2018. ABIC 2018 is co-organized by Peking University and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Topics like biofortification, genome editing, functional genomics, genome selection, molecular breeding, agribiotechnology and agriculture policy and other subthemes will be covered in ABIC 2018.
