Richard Lajoie was born in Shawinigan, Québec and left after college to pursue his academic and professional life across Canada, United-States and Europe. He has been recognized over the last 15 years as an inspirational and creative leader with a strong capacity to build high performing teams. Richard is President of Valeant Canada since June 2017 and joined the company in 2013 as Vice President of the Pharma Business Unit. He has lead innovative business model transformations, many new launches and completed successful business development deals

Martin BarbeauVice President, Market Access & Government Affairs

Martin Barbeau leads the Canadian market access, Health Economics and Outcomes (HEOR), external affairs and corporate communications teams from Laval Quebec and is also a member of the Valeant Canada operating committee leadership team. Mr. Barbeau is responsible for driving the market access strategy in partnership with governments and private payers to create value for patients by seeking optimal reimbursement and access to the company’s products
