Myera Group Inc.

Since 2012 Myera Group has been working on its vision to map community and individual health outcomes to a dynamic food production system. With the support of NSERC and MITACs funding, Myera is now leveraging IBM “Watson Analytics”, to accelerate the development of an “Agri-health” functional foods and nutraceuticals platform. --> Aboriginal communities in rural Canada are highly vulnerable to the negative health and economic effects of food insecurity and the negative health consequences of nutritional imbalances that result from high-cost food with poor nutritional value. Resolving these issues in the future will require a greater understanding of the unique nutritional requirements and nutritional deficiencies within the food supply of these communities. --> One of the primary solutions to these widespread community nutritional deficiencies will be the development and implementation of community-based sustainable food production systems that can be operated locally to meet local needs. Myera’s innovative food-production platform technology seeks to be the primary means to achieving that objective. This proprietary integrated fish and algae production facility seeks to bridge the gap between health outcomes and missing nutritional factors.
