Steve Rosenman specializes in biotechnology patent strategic counseling, patent prosecution and intellectual property opinions, and also handles U.S. trademark clearance and registration. Early in his career, Steve conducted post-doctoral academic research inimmunology, cell and molecular biology, and biochemistry at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle followed by 4+ years in the biotechnology industry at a Seattle biotech start-up.  He has published in the fields of cellular and molecular immunology, glycoconjugate biochemistry, and cell adhesion. Steve is admitted to practice in the state of Washington (1997) and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Washington State and American Bar Associations, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Washington State Patent Law Association, and Life Science Washington.

Sam has extensive expertise in U.S. and international patent matters pertaining to life science, chemical, and medical device technologies, including experience as an IP attorney at a major U.S. pharmaceutical company as well as in private IP law practice. Sam is admitted to practice in the states of Washington and Utah, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Washington State Patent Law Association (WSPLA), American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), and the Government Affairs Council of Life Science Washington (formerly Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association). From 2009-2013, Sam served as a part-time lecturer at University of Washington School of Law, where he taught “IP Appellate Advocacy.
